The end of the regular season is upon us! With senior night and a brutal last-second loss to Miami behind us, it is time to look at how or if we can be Duke again, this time at Cameron. Plus I take a look at the ACC standings and possible seeding for the ACC Tournament.
Until Next time, thanks for listening and Go Heels!
What a week for Tar Heel basketball! Unfortunately, I don't say that in a good way. A winless week for UNC Hoops, 3 losses in a row and our 5-star recruit suspended by the university for who knows what (oh yeah and Theo's injury)!
I try to dive into the games as best I can. Then I look at the Pitt game this weekend before I give any input I feel I can on Jalek.
Until Next time, thanks for listening and Go Heels!
A little change in scheduling, which is why it's so important you subscribe to the podcast wherever you listen! See links below.

College basketball is quickly approaching! The full Tar Heels' schedule has been released with all dates and times. Before we get to the schedule predictions (coming next month, send yours in) I give my predictions from what to expect from the UNC players.
I quickly hit on a couple other updates and happenings with Carolina basketball.
If available would you send in audio feedback, comments, and questions to be played on the podcast? I am looking at using Anchor, Voxer, or WhatsApp to collect and audio you would like to send it to be played as a part of the podcast. Please give feedback as to if you like this idea and/or which platform would be best.
Would you be interested in being in a mastermind group for this podcast? Giving advice, suggestions, being a soundboard and who knows what else it will turn into from there?
Or would you like to help run some of the social media accounts for this podcast and about UNC Hoops?
If fit either of those or maybe both I would love for you to email me at UNCHoopsTalk@gmail.com or send me a DM on twitter and let's chat about it!
Going to be another exciting season of Tar Heel Basketball!
Until Next time, thanks for listening and Go Heels!
I am back Tar Heel Nation to wrap-up this spectacular season! In this podcast as we transition into the off-season and podcasting once a month I give my final (probably not though) thoughts on the Championship run and what it means for Roy Williams. Also, we look at who is leaving early and who will come back, recruits we are still after for next season, and finally I finish off by looking back at my preseason predictions as well as all them that you guys submitted back in October! Who was spot on and predicted it all?
Thanks for a great season and joining me in covering it here on the podcast! Also, thanks for all the great support you continue to give me and the podcast!
The Final Four edition of the UNC Hoops Talk Podcast! The Final Four is upon us and I am here to take a quick look at both games. Will our championship be the 1 seeds, will it be the Carolinas, or will it be 2 teams going for their first championship in program history?
My first UNC/Duke game did not come out the way it was suppose to! What an experience though, nothing like that unless it probably in the Smith Center or Cameron. Something I will always remember, which is probably good and bad.
So of course I discuss the game mostly, I talk about my experience here at the ACC Tourney working as an expert for the Heels for New York Life. Then I quickly talk a little bit about our seeding and the NCAA tournament, but just a little as we get the selections tomorrow anyway and we will talk more about it next week.
Your Tar Heels are ACC regular season Champs for the second year in a row! UNC had claimed the outright title earlier in the day with Notre Dame losing, so once we took down Duke on Saturday night we ended up claiming the toughest league in the country by 2 games!
Obviously, I discuss the game against Duke and then look ahead to the 2017 New York Life ACC Tournament!
There is a little PSA at the beginning as I will be there covering the Heels as a partner with New York Life and giving some behind the scenes stuff and would love for you to follow me along the journey in all the different places (links below) and possibly get on the podcast with me (let me know if you will be in Brooklyn for the tourney as well. Also, let me know what you would like to see and I'll do my best in all that I can to get it to you.
Here is all the postgame coverage from the Wofford game where the Tar Heels pulled away late to get a 78-58 victory.
Included is Roy's press conference, then locker room interviews from Kennedy Meeks, Joel Berry II, Isaiah Hicks, and Brice Johnson. I finished this post off with a highlight video from the game. Plus here is the Box Score.
Enjoy & Go Heels!

With just one game left in the regular season the Tar Heels sit in 5th. Of course that last ACC game is always a big one and with the chance to still earn the important double bye 4th seed it becomes even bigger for UNC. Also, with Carolina getting back guys from injury it is important to work them, especially Theo, back into the rotation and get them some run before the NCAA tournament gets here.
As always the postgame coverage includes Roy's postgame presser, interviews with some players, this time Marcus Paige, Joel Berry, Justin Jackson, and Theo Pinson. After that is the highlight video and here is the games box score: GT Box Score.
Another game vs. Georgia Tech and another easy win for the Tar Heels!
Here are all the highlights in vine form from the big win. Follow me on vine or twitter to get all the highlights during the game:

Some tough times have come to Chapel Hill since the last podcast. Of course, we all know about the passing of legendary Coach Dean Smith, plus the Tar Heels went 1-1 losing to Pitt. However, what everyone (ESPN) is talking about is the UNC/Duke game on Wednesday. North Carolina is sitting at 5th currently in the ACC, 1 game behind Duke, but have also lost 3 of the last 4 heading into the first match-up.
I briefly discuss the BC and Pitt games, but most of the podcast is dedicated to our rivals down the road. Who will stop Okafor? Can we guard the 3? Do we have a chance?
(Joel Berry II really? Turns out its a NC State QB not even a BC player. Lol)
Also, what is wrong with the Tar Heels? Is there locker room problems or was it just a tough week after the passing of Coach Smith?
Here is all the postgame coverage for the CBS Sports Classic game vs. Ohio St.
Included is the press conference by Roy Williams, interviews with Marcus Paige, Nate Britt, Joel Berry, Kennedy Meeks, and Brice Johnson along with the highlights video.
