Yesterday college basketball got a start date! The D1 council met and gave us some hope! Amongst other things, they gave us a day college hoops can return.

This has been the longest offseason Ever! Will it end, if so when? Not a lot of UNC Hoops stuff to discuss, but short pod just catching up and discussing if there will be a season and when will it start if we do?

Lots of new faces and talent coming in along with some staple pieces coming back it looks like a promising season for the Tar Heels, as long as there is a season. So what will our starting line-up look like come October or February? We break it all down here!
The Tar Heels close out their nightmare regular season with a loss in Cameron against Duke. Now we as UNC Hoops fans are down to our last desperate chance to make the March Madness NCAA tournament, the ACC Tournament.
I go through the stats of the Duke game and then turn my attention to our first-round match-up against Virginia Tech. The Tar Heels have a long road to get the automatic bid to the tournament, can they do it?
The Tar Heels lose back-to-back games to in-state rivals pushing the season to the brink of unfathomable. Our post-season hopes are slim, what can we take away and how can we as fans show our best side?
We got Cole Anthony back, but it hasn't helped or changed things. Or did it make it worse? Where do we go from here? Also, Duke comes to Chapel Hill on Saturday, so thats a thing! Let's discuss!
The Tar Heels have started the season 2-0 and there is plenty to talk about! Of course, it all starts with Cole Anthony this season. As we talk through the Notre Dame and UNCW wins we also have to talk about the support and who will step up to help Cole score and how injuries have affected that.
After going through the first 2 games I take a look at the next 2 opponents in Gardner Webb and Elon.

-Alex German @_german53_- so I think CBB this year is gonna be Kansas and Michigan State then everyone else, so strong chance Carolina can make a final 4 run. I don’t think Cole is going to disappoint and I think Leaky is going to have a breakout year. and maybe some bias bc he’s my favorite one on the team, but I think Platek is going to play a huge role on both sides of the ball (27-4)

I believe UNC starts the season out with a conference win vs Notre Dame. I believe UNC will go 10-1 in Non-Conference play with a loss in the championship game vs Gonzaga in the Battle 4 Atlantis. I do believe UNC gets Gonzaga back on December 18th with a road win in Spokane. I 100% my next prediction because I believe this team has the potential to do this. I believe UNC goes 19-1 in the ACC. Yes, 19-1. And it’s not going to be against a tough team like Duke, Virginia, or Louisville. I believe we will have a road loss against Florida State on February 3rd. I believe UNC loses in the ACC Championship to Duke, but then we will go on to win the National Championship in Atlanta vs Michigan State. I know, I know, it's been 4 months since the last podcast. It has been a super, crazy, busy summer here and it's not even slowing down now that summer is over. However, the podcast must go on! It's been way too long and so much has happened with UNC Hoops since the last podcast. I try to get to it all as well as closing out last season, looking back at our pre-season predictions here on the pod and looking ahead for the podcast.
After missing last week and revealing my bracket, I am back and so are the Tar Heels! UNC is back in the Sweet 16 for a record 29th time. After struggling with Iona in the first half before pulling away, then taking care of Washington in a business-like way, the Heels are on to take on 5 seed Auburn who dismantled Kansas!
I talk about all 3 of those games as well as take a look at the other Sweet 16 games this Thursday and Friday before taking a look at possible Elite 8 games.
We are 3 games and wins into the Tar Heels basketball season and it is rolling with no slowing down in site! That means we are also back to weekly podcasts keeping you up to date, looking back at the stats of games and previewing upcoming games!
