UNC Basketball: TAR HEELS HEADED TO THE FINAL FOUR! MEETING DUKE!

UNC Hoops Talk Podcast #232

The Tar Heels have done it! After flirting with the bubble midway through the ACC schedule, UNC Hoops has turned it around and made a somewhat improbable run all the way to New Orleans!

Now for the first time EVER, the Tar Heels and Duke basketball will meet up in the NCAA tournament! Talk about March Madness!

Here we will break down the last 2 games for the Heels, first the tight win over UCLA, then the easy blowout win over #15 Cinderella St. Peter's.

SWEET 16! TAR HEELS BEAT BAYLOR! (and the refs)

UNC Hoops Talk Podcast #231

After a blowout win over Marquette in the first round, UNC looked to keep it rolling against Baylor! They did...until the refs took over in the middle of the second half! We break it all down and enjoy this big win for Coach Davis and the Heels.

UNC Basketball: That escalated quickly! Now What?

Wow, think of everything that has happened since the last pod! The Tar Heels lost, badly to Syracuse in the second round of the ACC tournament, also one of the last basketball games played this season. You know the rest, NBA shutdown, conference tourneys canceled, and all of March Madness was canceled! But wait, it didn't stop there, now we are all shut in our homes for the foreseeable future because of the coronavirus! So where do we go from here? I guess it's kind of closing out of UNC and all of the college basketball season.

UNC Basketball: On To The Sweet 16!

After missing last week and revealing my bracket, I am back and so are the Tar Heels! UNC is back in the Sweet 16 for a record 29th time. After struggling with Iona in the first half before pulling away, then taking care of Washington in a business-like way, the Heels are on to take on 5 seed Auburn who dismantled Kansas!

I talk about all 3 of those games as well as take a look at the other Sweet 16 games this Thursday and Friday before taking a look at possible Elite 8 games.
