This episode I jump right into it, I review the Tennessee win (from an in-person point of view) and my experience at the game.
Then I move over to what the heck happened last night At Home against WOFFORD! Are we in trouble? Panic time? or a fluke and we will be okay?
Before I sign off we look at the next couple of weeks games which include the non-conference closer against Ohio State in the CBS Sports Classic. Then look at the ACC opener against Wake Forest and our first road ACC game against FSU!
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from the UNC Hoops Talk Podcast!
Until Next time, thanks for listening and Go Heels!
A week full of games again and a week full of our Tar Heels taking care of business!
This week I break down the wins over Michigan, Davidson, and Tulane (shouldn’t take too long). Then I take a look ahead which is only the Western Carolina game (also, shouldn’t take very long)
Other topics include- update on Cam’s injury, got my ticket to an upcoming game (who else will be there? meet up?) vlog?, a look at the podcast schedule through the holiday season, and lastly I revisit the “my guy” topic from couple podcasts ago (send yours in!).
Until Next time, thanks for listening and Go Heels!
*technical difficulties at 25:00 (sorry about that)

On this episode I talk all about the NCAA investigation on UNC! It's finally over! No penalties, sanctions, fines or anything for the Tar Heels! So how should we feel about this, does this taint the university or the basketball program?
Also, I recap Late Night with Roy! Who looked good and stood out? Who do I think the starters will be?
I briefly mention the FBI investigation on all of college basketball.
What's coming up for the UNC Hoops team?
Roy Williams honored with another award.
Until Next time, thanks for listening and Go Heels!

Want to thank David for taking time to come on the podcast and wish him all the best at Southern Durham this year and those to come!
In the interview we hit on:
-David’s recruitment to UNC
-his time at UNC, biggest takeaway, plays that stick out, what LNWR meant to him
-What he has been up to since graduating from UNC
-we talk about his new position as head coach at his alma mater Southern Durham, influences as coaches and style he will run
-I finished off by getting his take on the last 2 seasons of Tar Heel basketball, the heartbreak and then the redemption of 2017 and also what his prediction is for this upcoming season

College basketball is quickly approaching! The full Tar Heels' schedule has been released with all dates and times. Before we get to the schedule predictions (coming next month, send yours in) I give my predictions from what to expect from the UNC players.
I quickly hit on a couple other updates and happenings with Carolina basketball.
If available would you send in audio feedback, comments, and questions to be played on the podcast? I am looking at using Anchor, Voxer, or WhatsApp to collect and audio you would like to send it to be played as a part of the podcast. Please give feedback as to if you like this idea and/or which platform would be best.

I bring Ross back on the podcast for our annual recruiting podcast!
Ross recently got a new gig with Inside Carolina covering mostly football, but he still is up on all the basketball and recruiting info that he can share with us.
We hit on what to expect from the incoming freshmen this year for the Tar Heels.
Then we move to next year, who has Roy offered, who has already committed, and what type of players are they?
Lastly, we quickly look at the 2019 class. Who has been offered, who has committed, and what are they like?
Other UNC Hoops news: UNC coaches and administrators are meeting with the NCAA in Nashville currently and we will have news coming as it comes out.
Podcast update: The podcast recently was added to Google Play, TuneIn, and iHeartRadio and is now available almost anywhere you can listen to podcasts!

I am back Tar Heel Nation to wrap-up this spectacular season! In this podcast as we transition into the off-season and podcasting once a month I give my final (probably not though) thoughts on the Championship run and what it means for Roy Williams. Also, we look at who is leaving early and who will come back, recruits we are still after for next season, and finally I finish off by looking back at my preseason predictions as well as all them that you guys submitted back in October! Who was spot on and predicted it all?
Thanks for a great season and joining me in covering it here on the podcast! Also, thanks for all the great support you continue to give me and the podcast!
Finally getting to the recap and celebration of the Tar Heels 6th National Championship! Joining me to give what it was like to be in Chapel Hill for it all is Megan Arrington (@marrington12).
We talk about all things Championship, from breaking down the game, stats, where we were and just the pure joy it brought! Hope you join in and can relate!
We are back and have our chance at Redemption! We Survived Oregon and now will match up against Gonzaga tonight at a chance for the title!
I briefly talk about the Oregon game and then preview what should be a great game tonight against the Zags, trying to keep it short enough so hopefully you can listen before the game tips.
You've seen the commercial, you know the name and maybe even worried, "Is it real?"
Here's the proof: the extra unseen footage of Rick Barry's consistent free throw technique you have needed to believe it!
At the beginning of March, I worked as a super fan ambassador for New York Life at the ACC Men's Basketball Tournament and was able to interview Rick Barry (see it here: Rick Barry Interview). We talked recruiting, his basketball and broadcasting past, and of course his appearance in the New York Life commercial.
Now I have been granted exclusive access to some extra footage of Rick draining several more blindfolding free throws in a row! It is still fascinating and quite mesmerizing to watch how effortlessly he makes free throws look, especially in this day and age where they are taken for granted until a sub 70% free throw shooter steps to the line with the game on the line.
Wow! Our Tar Heels are headed to Phoenix! Back to the Final Four for some redemption and to bring home something they didn't last year!
That's right since last week's podcast UNC took care of the Butler Bulldogs and then had another epic matchup with the Kentucky Wildcats. This time, however, they came out on top thanks to a buzzer beater by none other than Luke Maye on a play similar to what Villanova used to beat us for the championship last year!
Of course, I'll talk about the Butler game, a little, then move on to what many think was the championship game against UK. After that, I will look ahead to the Final Four game against the Oregon Ducks.
In a podcast later this week I will take a look at the Final Four as a whole and try to predict what will happen from here on out. Subscribe so you don't miss out!
