UNC Advances...Barely! & a Crazy First Day!

As Tar Heel fans, we can breathe again! We survived & advanced past Harvard to meet Arkansas in the round of 32, but not without another heart attack of an ending!

As college basketball fans we were treated to one of the greatest first days of the tournament in history! We got to witness a record amount of close games and exciting endings!

ACC Tourney Preview & Duke Recap!

1. UNC Hoops Talk Podcast #54

Sadly on this Monday we are coming off another loss to Duke and this time it's to end our regular season. That leaves the Tar Heels at 21-10 overall and 11-7 in the ACC heading into tourney season.

I start this podcast off recapping Senior night in Chapel Hill and hit on such things as:

What the State Happened?

UNC Hoops Talk Podcast #52

UNC dropped in OT by Louisville & by #3 Virginia!

UNC Hoops Talk Podcast #49

The winning streak is over...the Heels had their 6 game winning streak snapped on Saturday in Louisville, losing to the Cardinals in OT after leading by as many as 18 in the second half.

With a quick turnaround, UNC hosted #3 Virginia on Monday and the Cavaliers again pulled away in the second half to bring the Tar Heels to 7-3 in the ACC and 17-6 overall.

With a little bit of a break here playing just 1 game in the next 11 days can the Heels get healthy? Is it just a health issue? I look forward and project out the next couple weeks worth of games, which brings us right up to the first meeting with that school down the road.
